Strange ‘smell of raw meat’ inside the 4,000-year catacomb of the ancient Egyptian official
A group of researchers smelled of raw meat when entering the tomb of an official of the 5th dynasty of ancient Egypt.
This is strange and staggering to researchers after crossing many layers of doors and first entering the tomb area of this official.
According to Express, Irukaptah (aka Khenu) is an Egyptian official of the 5th dynasty, under the reign of pharaoh Menkauhor or Djedkare, in the period of 2,500 – 2,350 BC.
According to Ryan Woodside, the Egyptian researcher said: “This is a very special tomb. It remains intact color. All the statues here are carved and meticulously expressed in different stages in the life of the deceased. ”
Also according to researcher Ryan, Khenu was originally a courtier of Pharaoh of the 5th dynasty in ancient Egypt, so the eternal life of this official was cared meticulously and thoroughly. And the walls are painted, decorated with color carefully.
What’s amazing is that, after more than 4,000 years of existence, stepping into the crypt, the group of researchers still smelled of raw meat.
“There are many rumors about the tomb, that it was cursed and very haunting. When we entered, we were careful with all respect.
However, this is just one of the strange things still hidden inside the tomb of mummies from ancient Egypt that makes people today amazing.
Ancient Egyptians lived in the lower reaches of the Nile River more than 4,500 before. The ancient Egyptian civilization had a great development, as evidenced by the number of buildings still standing today like the Giza pyramid.
